Applying to a program in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences means you are committed to making communities better and healthier places to live.

At Brock, we examine health from a global perspective and many of our degree programs study health as it relates to the individual and the community.

We train a variety of health care professionals including nurses, public health administrators, kinesiologists, recreation therapists and many others.

As well, some of our programs emphasize students’ understanding and practical learning in professional, amateur and community sport and recreation organizations.

Whether you are interested in sport management, medical sciences, nursing, outdoor recreation, therapeutic recreation, child health or physical education (to name only a few of our programs), we are pleased you are interested in joining the Brock community.

Master of Applied Gerontology

The Master of Applied Gerontology (MAG) professional degree at Brock University is designed for health professionals who work in the field of gerontology and recent graduates from a range of undergraduate programs who intend to pursue a professional gerontological health career.

Master of Professional Kinesiology

The Master of Professional Kinesiology program is designed to train students to be leading practitioners in the healthcare system for current and future practitioners of Kinesiology. Students will acquire an advanced understanding of the latest evidence-based practices to improve function, health and wellness in diverse populations.
