Dr. Kobus Mentz of Northwest University, South Africa, to collaborate with Brock Faculty of Education

Dr. Kobus Mentz, the Director at Faculty of Education Sciences at North-West University, South Africa will pay a three day visit to Brock University beginning July 11, 2006. Brock University has recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with North-West University to explore possible collaboration in the areas of faculty and professional staff visits and exchanges, as well as student exchange. While at Brock, Dr. Kobus Mentz will work closely with members of Faculty of Education on a joint Project around “Indigenous Literacy and Language across the Curriculum” and exploring other possible areas of interests.
